I love studs, so when Born Pretty asked me to review these studs I was more than happy too! If you haven’t heard of Born Pretty Store, their an online store that sell everything from nail things to jewelry and they also have free shipping! I love their store, they have so many cute things and they are very popular in the nail art community. Anyways, studs are a must have in your nail deco collection. These gold studs cost $5.86 and are 1.5mm in size. You get a good amount of studs in the bag it comes with. You definitely get your moneys worth. The bag they came with also has a zip lock thing to it and its very secure. I was worried that they would fall out during the day but they lasted until it was time to take of the manicure. Just make sure you use a good topcoat like Seche Vite. Application is easy, just apply a layer of topcoat and let that become tacky and apply the studs with a dotting tool.

I love the studs and seriously recommend them. I was really impressed with them and I’m planning to order different shapes and sizes soon. Born Pretty was also very kind to give you guys a 10% off code LWL91, so a big thanks to them! I have one questions for you guys, whats your favorite stud from Born Pretty?

I made nail art doodle sheets! I made these because I was tired of having to draw out a nail shape every time and they never came out the way I liked them. Please click the link to my blog post and read more about it. You will also be able to find the download link so you can download my doodle sheets for yourself! :)

Jason (from Friday the 13th) Tutorial

1. Start with a white base. I used White On from Sally Hansen.2. Sponge on some brown polish to age Jason’s mask. I used Bare Necessity from Avon.3. Paint on the eye openings of the mask in black. Add the red, triangular designs onto the mask.4. Add four black dots above the triangle over the eye opening, and one dot over the last dot on either side on top of the triangle. Ad three dots on the “cheeks”.5. Paint a black dot for the hole for the nose. Paint 4 dots in an arc below the “nose”. And two dots beneath both of the center dots out of the four.6. Finally, shade around the nose in brown to make it look three dimensional. Add silver dots beneath the red triangles on each side as screws for the mask. For the other nails, thin some red nail polish with nail polish thinner. Place drops at the tips of white nails. Then blow at the red, so that it goes towards your cuticle. There you go. Some “blood” covered nails.
